Where to Get Brunch in Boston

Ten places we’d send a friend for brunch, with hours from each restaurant’s own site. Weekend tables go fast, so go early or join the waitlist where there is one.

Every day of the week
- The Paramount, 44 Charles Street (Beacon Hill). Breakfast, brunch and lunch from 8 AM to 4 PM every day. Brunch is first come, first served: add your name to the list.
- Rochambeau, 900 Boylston Street (Back Bay). A French brasserie that serves brunch daily, 10 AM to 3 PM, and takes reservations.
- Mike & Patty’s, 12 Church Street (Bay Village). A sandwich shop known for its breakfast sandwiches, open 7:30 AM to 2 PM every day. Order ahead online to skip the line.
Weekend brunch
- The Friendly Toast, 35 Stanhope Street (Back Bay) and 1230 Massachusetts Avenue (Harvard Square). Colorful, retro dining rooms, a long breakfast menu and mimosas. Back Bay runs 7:30 AM to 5 PM on weekends; Harvard Square stays open until 8 PM on Saturdays. Both have an online waitlist.
- Krasi, 48 Gloucester Street (Back Bay). A Greek wine bar with brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, 10 AM to 3 PM.
- Boqueria (Seaport). Spanish tapas, with a family-style brunch feast at $29 a person, Saturdays and Sundays 11 AM to 4 PM.
- Buttermilk & Bourbon, 160 Commonwealth Avenue (Back Bay). Southern food with a weekend brunch menu; its site was down when we checked, so call (617) 266-1122 for hours.
Brunch with something extra
- Myers + Chang, 1145 Washington Street (South End). Dim sum brunch Thursday through Sunday, 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
- The Beehive, 541 Tremont Street (South End). Weekend brunch with live music, 10 AM to 2 PM. Book on its site or call 617-423-0069.
- Drag and music brunches: Club Café and City Winery run themed brunch shows on weekends. They’re on our calendar with dates and tickets.
