The Head of the Charles Is This Weekend
Three days of rowing on the Charles, Oct. 16 to 18. Watching from the banks is free.
The Head of the Charles Regatta is Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18. Crews race upriver on the Charles between Boston and Cambridge, and watching from the banks and bridges costs nothing.
Expect crowds along Memorial Drive and Soldiers Field Road all weekend. The T is the easy way in; the regatta’s site has the race schedule. Afterward, there’s plenty going on in Cambridge and Allston.
