Free Berklee Concerts in Boston

Free student and faculty concerts almost every night, in Berklee’s halls on Boylston Street and Mass Ave.

Berklee is the biggest source of free live music in Boston. Students and faculty from Berklee and the Boston Conservatory play recitals almost every night of the school year, from jazz and pop to classical and world music, in a cluster of halls around Boylston Street and Massachusetts Avenue.

Many recitals are free with no ticket needed: just show up. Others are free with a reservation, and bigger shows, especially at the Berklee Performance Center and the Red Room at Café 939, are ticketed. Each listing below says which. The Red Room is all ages, so it’s an easy pick for under-21s; see our under-21 guide.

Every free Berklee show we’ve confirmed is below and on our free events page. For more jazz, see the jazz clubs guide, and for the rest of the neighborhood, Back Bay.
