Copley Square with Trinity Church and Hancock Tower

Boston Parks and Recreation will light the tree in Copley Square on Monday, November 30, from 5 to 6 p.m., and it’s the first one in the newly renovated square.

  • A guided tour of the redone Copley Square
  • Arts and crafts, plus Santa and Rudolph
  • Music from vocalist Joelle James, the Boston Children’s Chorus and Emerson College’s Symphonic
  • Afterward: cookies and photos with Santa at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, starting at 6 p.m.

It’s free. The bigger Boston Common tree lighting follows on Thursday, December 3. Both are on our holiday events page, and here’s the listing.
