The Orpheum is one of the oldest concert halls in the country: it opened in 1852 as the Boston Music Hall, was the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s first home, and later became a vaudeville house and movie palace. Today it seats about 2,700 for concerts, comedy and talks, tucked down Hamilton Place off Tremont Street.

Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, the venue’s official seller; use the link on each listing to avoid resale markups. Nearby: the theaters on our Downtown page.
