Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker Runs Nov. 27 to Dec. 31
Mikko Nissinen’s Nutcracker returns to the Citizens Opera House for the holidays. Buy from Boston Ballet directly.
Boston Ballet’s The Nutcracker, in Mikko Nissinen’s staging, runs November 27 through December 31, 2026 at the Citizens Opera House on Washington Street, with the Boston Ballet Orchestra playing Tchaikovsky’s score.
Buy through Boston Ballet’s own site to avoid resale markups. When we checked, its ticketing system was down for maintenance and the company said to email tickets@bostonballet.org in the meantime. It also runs a sensory-friendly performance; details are on its site.
It’s on our December page and the holiday events page, along with the tree lightings and Holiday Pops.
