Roma Pizza & Company Takes Over the Old Rome Pizza Spot on Tremont Street
A new pizza shop is open at 416 Tremont Street in the South End, where Rome Pizza served for about 30 years.
The South End didn’t go long without a slice. Roma Pizza & Company is now open at 416 Tremont Street, the corner spot where Rome Pizza served for about 30 years before closing in September, as Boston Restaurant Talk reported.
The menu is a full pizza-shop lineup: stone-oven pizzas you can build yourself (with a gluten-free option), wings, subs, wraps, salads and pasta plates like chicken Milanese and seafood cannelloni. Its site lists hours of 10 AM to 11 PM, and you can order ahead online for pickup.
It’s a few blocks from the theaters on our South End page, and a good late-ish option before the real late-night spots take over.
