C’Yool calls itself Boston’s first homegrown Yemeni coffeehouse and bakery, and it’s now open at 600 Harrison Avenue in the South End (the entrance is listed as 50 Malden Street). The name comes from the streams that run through Yemen after the rains, which mark the start of the coffee harvest.

Expect Yemeni-style coffee and bread baked in house. During the soft opening it’s open every day from 7 AM to 2 PM, and it’s already taking reservations, orders for pickup, and bookings for holiday parties and catering.

Boston.com first put it on its October list. For more weekend mornings, see our brunch guide and the South End page.
